Avoid pain by being proactive. Every chronic disease state has many causes, with every one being sub-optimal lifestyle over a long time frame. The same causes manifest in different diseases depending on the personal interplay of genetics and causes.
Why you shouldn’t have blind faith in your doctor. Conventional medicine, as practiced by doctors, is a seriously flawed paradigm. It’s simply clear to see that it doesn’t work for chronic disease, which is what causes 99% of the suffering out there.
How do you measure success in life? Having lots of money is a nice thing — it means you don’t have to worry about money. But having a fatter wage check, a bigger house or a bigger car… these things alone won’t make you happy, not in the long run.

HABIT POWER laid bare. I’m always banging on about the power of habit. Habits are at the root of all outcomes, good or bad because habit is the power that repeats behavior. But habits can be so subtle and automatic, that it’s difficult to see JUST how powerful they are…
Take baby steps. When we identify a change we want to make and take action, we usually fall flat on our face because the change was too big and that causes pain and misery. What most people do then is pick an even bigger step…
Faith in the finish line. Often when we make a change the initial effect is that we feel worse. Say you’ve decided to change your sleep routine for the better, or cut out gluten. That can make us feel worse in the short term. That’s when you need “faith in the finish line.”
